We’ve changed our name, not our promise. Served to Cert is now S2C Training - the same Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45605), the same team, the same nationally recognised qualifications and the same Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)pathways you already trust. If you’re a current or returning student, nothing about your enrolment, your qualification or the way we assess your experience has changed. What has changed is how much more we can now offer.
This rebrand reflects a simple reality: we’ve grown beyond what our original name could capture. Here’s what that means for you.
Why the name changed
“Served to Cert” described where we started - helping people turn service into formal qualifications. But our work today reaches further than that name suggested. S2C Training keeps everything our original audiences valued while making room for the broader scope of qualifications, audiences and programs we now deliver. Same foundation, wider reach.
To be clear about what hasn’t changed:
• We are the same legal entity and RTO (45605)
• Your existing qualifications, enrolments and RPL assessments continue exactly as before
• The RPL approach that recognises real-world, service-acquired skills remains central to what we do
The same trusted RPL pathway
Recognition of Prior Learning isstill at the heart of S2C Training. RPL lets you convert skills and experience you already hold into a nationally recognised qualification - without repeating training for things you can already do. For people whose capability was builton the job rather than in a classroom, it’s often the fastest, most practicalroute to formal recognition.
That principle hasn’t moved. We’ve simply extended it to more people and more qualifications.
Who we support
We continue to serve the audiences who have always been central to our work, and we’ve widened the door to welcome more:
• ADF personnel and veterans transitioning out of service and translating military experience into civilian qualifications
• Emergency services and first responders seeking formal recognition for hard-won operational skills
• Career professionals ready to have their experience formally recognised and build on it
• Employers looking to build workforce capability, formalise team skills and invest in professional development
For our defence and emergency services communities, the message is straightforward: the ADF transition support, veteran qualifications and emergency services training you came to us for are all still here - now part of a larger offering.
What’s new: employers and professional development
The biggest expansion is who we now partner with. Alongside supporting individuals, S2C Training works directly with employers on workforce capability - helping organisations recognise existing skills, close capability gaps and develop their people through nationally recognised training.
That includes a growing focus on Leadership and Management, delivered through targeted professional development programs:
