Course Outline
CPCCWHS2001 Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry provides individuals with the practical knowledge and skills required to apply workplace health and safety requirements within construction workplaces. Suitable for supervisors, team leaders, leading hands, and workers with additional safety responsibilities, the course focuses on implementing safe work practices and supporting compliance with workplace health and safety obligations.
Participants develop an understanding of construction industry WHS requirements, hazard identification, risk control measures, site safety procedures, incident reporting, and the responsibilities of workers and supervisors in maintaining a safe work environment. Building on the foundation knowledge gained through the General Construction Induction (White Card), this unit supports those who play an active role in promoting, implementing, and monitoring workplace safety practices on construction sites.

What This Course Prepares You For

Who This Course Suits
This course suits supervisors, team leaders, leading hands, and workers who have taken on additional safety responsibilities on construction sites. There are no formal entry requirements, though the White Card provides useful foundation knowledge.
How It’s Delivered
This course runs over one day and is offered on campus, in the workplace, or online. Where it is delivered online, students will need a device with a webcam, microphone, reliable internet, a current web browser, and a PDF reader. For workplace-based delivery, students may need access to workplace resources, documentation, and personnel relevant to their role, and employer permission may be required where workplace evidence is collected.
USI & Certification
To receive a Statement of Attainment, students must have a verified Unique Student Identifier (USI), unless exempt. Certification will be issued within 30 calendar days of being assessed as competent and any outstanding fees being paid.
Learner Support & Reasonable Adjustment
Students have access to trainer support throughout the course. S2C Training provides reasonable adjustment where appropriate while maintaining the integrity of the training and assessment requirements.
Credit Transfer
S2C Training recognises eligible nationally recognised training completed with other RTOs through the Credit Transfer process. Students may apply and provide supporting documentation for assessment.
Transition Arrangements
Where a qualification is superseded, deleted, or substantially amended, S2C Training will manage student transitions in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and organisational policies and will advise students of any available options.
